First Page SEO Guarantee Terms
We guarantee up to 50% of the key phrases you could rank for will rank on the first page of Google.
Last updated September 29, 2026
What we promise about where your business shows up on Google, how we measure it and what happens if we fall short, in plain words.
What these terms are
These terms set out our first page guarantee: the promise we make about where your business shows up on Google, how we measure it and what happens if we fall short. They are part of every client agreement that includes the first page guarantee. If your signed agreement says something different on a point, your signed agreement decides that point.
In these terms, we and us mean First Page SEO Guarantee, and you means the business that signs the agreement.
The promise in one line
The sentence at the top of this page is our first page guarantee: a portion of the key phrases your business could rank for, reaching the first page of Google by set dates after your plan starts, in each of the three places your customers look on Google. The rest of these terms explain each part of that sentence.
Who qualifies
The first page guarantee is offered after an assessment, and only if you qualify. Before we sign, we look at your business, your website, your Google Business Profile, the searches your customers make and the businesses that already show up for them. We then tell you in writing whether we can offer the first page guarantee, and for which market.
To qualify:
- you run a real business that serves customers in the market we agree on, and you can legally advertise what you sell there;
- you own or control your website and your Google Business Profile, or can give us the access we need to work on them;
- your website and profile are not under a penalty or suspension from Google that cannot be fixed as part of your plan;
- you agree to the key phrase list and the start date described below.
Your key phrase list
We build a list of every variation your customers could type to find a business like yours, and we go after all of them. At the start we agree the list with you in writing. It is the list the first page guarantee is measured against, and it stays the same for the whole term unless we both agree in writing to change it.
A few rules keep the count fair:
- searches for your own business name do not count, because you should show up for those already;
- each phrase counts once in each place, even when more than one of your pages shows up for it there;
- a phrase for a service you stop offering, or a place you stop serving, comes off the list, and each share is worked out from the phrases that remain;
- if Google stops showing a results page for a phrase the way it does today, we replace it with the closest phrase we both agree on.
What counts as the first page, in each place
We measure the first page guarantee separately in each of the three places your customers look on Google. A key phrase counts in a place when a search for it on Google, made from the market we agreed, shows your business there:
- the map results: the local map results, through your Google Business Profile;
- the organic results: the first page of the regular results, meaning the first ten organic results;
- AI answers: the answer written by AI that Google shows on the results page, when it names or links your business.
The schedule
We work out your share separately for each place. In the map results and in the organic results, your share is the number of phrases on your list that count there, divided by the number of phrases on your list. Google does not show an AI answer for every search, so in AI answers your share is the number of phrases that count there, divided by the number of phrases on your list for which Google shows an AI answer when we check. If Google shows an AI answer for none of them at a check, there is no share to measure in AI answers at that check, and that milestone is judged in the map results and the organic results.
The first page guarantee is measured on three dates, counted from your start date, and each milestone must be reached separately in the map results, in the organic results and in AI answers:
- by day 90: at least 20% on the first page, in each of the three places;
- by day 180: at least 40% on the first page, in each of the three places;
- by the end of the first year: 50%+ on the first page, in each of the three places.
Your start date
The first page guarantee tops out at the last of those three milestones. Our aim is always more, and we keep working toward every phrase on your list, but the promise itself is the three dates above.
Your start date is the day we begin work under your signed agreement, once we have the access listed under your part below. We confirm it to you in writing.
How we check
On each milestone date we search every phrase on your list from the market we agreed. For each phrase we record whether your business shows up in the map results, in the organic results and in an AI answer, and whether Google showed an AI answer at all, and we send you the results with your share in each of the three places. You can ask for the same report at any time between milestones, and we run it within ten days of your request.
Google's results can differ a little from one searcher to the next. If you see something different from our report, tell us and we will check it again with you.
If a milestone is missed
If a milestone date passes and your share in one or more of the three places is below that milestone, we keep doing the work in your plan and stop billing you for it until your share in each place reaches that milestone. Billing starts again from the day our check shows the milestone reached in each place, and the next milestone date moves back by the same number of days.
This is the remedy under the first page guarantee. It does not change the fees for work already done, and it does not apply to a milestone missed for one of the reasons listed below, under when the first page guarantee does not apply.
Your part
The first page guarantee depends on us being able to do the work. For as long as it runs, you agree to:
- give us access to your website, your Google Business Profile and any analytics account within ten days of signing, and keep that access in place;
- answer our questions, and approve or correct new pages and profile changes, within ten days of our request;
- tell us before you, or anyone else, changes your website, domain, business name, address, phone number or profile;
- not hire another company to work on the SEO of the same website while the first page guarantee runs, unless we agree to it in writing;
- keep your account paid up to date.
When the first page guarantee does not apply
The first page guarantee does not apply to a milestone missed because:
- your website, domain or Business Profile was down, suspended or penalized for a reason outside our work;
- you, or someone other than us, changed or removed pages, links, settings or listings we set up;
- you changed your business name, address, service area or services after the list was agreed, and did not agree an updated list with us;
- a payment was more than 30 days late, or you paused the work;
- a law, a court order or an event outside anyone's control, such as a natural disaster, stopped the work.
Changes Google makes
Google's regular changes to how it ranks pages are not on that list. Keeping up with them is part of the work, and they do not excuse a missed milestone under the first page guarantee.
What the first page guarantee does not promise
It is a promise about where your business shows up on Google, and nothing else. It does not promise:
- any particular position on the page;
- more traffic, calls, leads, customers or sales;
- results on search engines other than Google;
- any first page share above the three milestones;
- results for phrases that are not on your agreed list.
How long it runs, and ending the agreement
The first page guarantee runs from your start date to the end of the first year, when the last milestone falls, plus any days added under these terms. After that, your plan continues only if we both agree to continue it.
Either of us can end the agreement by giving the other 30 days' notice in writing. If you end it before a milestone date, the first page guarantee ends with it, and the milestones still to come no longer apply. Fees for work already done stay due.
Fees and billing
Your fees, billing dates and payment method are set out in your agreement, which we send you before any work begins. If a payment is late, we may pause the work after telling you in writing; the days the work is paused are added to the milestone dates.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will show the date of the change at the top of them. The version in place when you sign your agreement is the one that applies to it, unless we both agree in writing to use a newer one.
Governing law
These terms and your agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. If we disagree about them, we will first try to settle it by talking it through. If that does not work, either of us may take the matter to the state or federal courts in Clark County, Nevada.
Questions
Before you sign, use the form on our contact page and we will reply to any question you have about these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle the details you send us.
