A ranking is worth nothing if it puts your license at risk, so each page we publish for you stays inside the Texas rules. State law makes false or misleading dental advertising unlawful, and the board lists what can cross the line: promising dental work without pain, predicting how satisfied a patient will be, or claiming better materials or service than other dentists offer.
Every communication about your services must show the dentist's degree, the words general dentist, or a specialty the dentist is qualified in. Texas recognizes only the specialty areas below, and the word specialist belongs to a qualified dentist in one of them; a general dentist may still offer those services with a clear general-dentist disclosure. The board also expects your website to show who owns the practice, its services, office addresses and each dentist's license. We leave patient testimonials out of your ads, since Texas law lists an ad that contains one among misleading ads. Answer Step 1, and your current site gets read against these rules.
